This gentleman came to us at Azura really quite down about his smile and the overall appearance of his teeth. This severely affected his confidence and left him not wanting to smile. It was going to take a detailed treatment plan to get this smile to look and function as it should. First step was a gentle appointment with a thorough examination and long discussion with our patient around what bothered him about his smile.
Our findings were in relation to both function and aesthetics. We also spent time discussing his previous experiences and what made it difficult for him. Dr Deb believes the most important team work is between her and the patient.
Helping people look and feel their best is what we do here at Azura. It’s always a joy to see our treatments make a real difference in people’s lives, whether that be helping to treat a chronic health concern, or simply giving someone the confidence boost they’ve always needed.
First things first, we needed to achieve a brighter smile. By whitening teeth first, we then create dental work such as crowns and bridges in a colour to match the new brighter smile. This shade can then be maintained with the at home customised maintenance kit provided with in-chair whitening.
After we achieved the optimal shade for this patient we then worked on the shape and validity of his teeth. Multiple crowns were used to stabilise the smile and restructure the teeth. This in turn allowed his jaw to be properly supported. As you can see in his after photos it has completely changed the shape of his face and given him a great deal of confidence.
